“OM, In Silence
OM, as One
I the dance when two is born from one
When the body is dropped
And the breath no longer inhales
There is a sense that I still exist
In completed silence
Perceiving space
No form, Identity or face
No emotion, no state
The dance of breath is felt
Eyes open
It seems I am back
Although this completed silence I had never left
Never meeting another to forget, miss or remember
I could not be alone as I had never been together
This autumn breath that needs not to be breathed
Is the force behind every moment
Of this dance expressed as me
Me the dance, Me in duality
Me recalling this to be
Me that ceases to exist without thee
The very I that in return sees me
Born from myself I am brought to my knees
For the form does not drop
But internally I remaining a servant of thee
That very breath that breathes me”
To the sage, nothing is happening that is worth reporting.

“To a Sage, whether the mind is chaotic or not makes no difference! Allow everything to move through you. Nothing goes deep nor registers inside. Like plants without roots floating on the surface of the ocean, let what comes and goes do their thing, you stay put in and as the Being/Self. In fact, use all experiences as opportunities to find out who you are! The Sage in you doesn’t have to take a step back from anything, for it is without identity.”

Water has no shape, its nature is to flow. If you put it into a vase it will take the shape of the vase. In this cup, it has assumed the shape of the cup. If poured into my cupped hands it will take the shape of the hands. But water has no shape. It is the same with the consciousness, which is subtler than water. It similarly has no form, but it assumes the form of whatever concept it is poured into or identifies with, but it will never be the form. It remains ever its formless nature.

Neither birth nor death pertain to you;
You have never been merely a body.
It is well known that “All is Brahman,” The Absolute;
The scriptures have stated this in various ways.
You are That which is both inside and out;
You are Shiva; you are everything, everywhere.
Why, then, are you so deluded?
Why do you run about like a frightened ghost?
There’s no such thing as union or separation,
for me or for you.
There is no me, no you, no manifold world;
All is the Self, and the Self alone.
You cannot be heard, or smelled, or tasted;
You cannot be seen, or sensed by touch.
Truly, you are the ultimate Reality;
Why, then, should you be so troubled?
Neither birth, nor death, nor the active mind,
Nor bondage, nor liberation, affects you at all.
Why then, my dear, do you grieve in this way?
You and I have no name or form.
O my mind, why are you so deluded?
Why do you run about like a frightened ghost?
Become aware of the indivisible Self!
Be rid of attachment; be happy and free!
Truly, you are the unchanging Essence of everything;
You are the unmoving Unity; you’re boundless Freedom.
You have neither attachment nor aversion;
Why, then, do you worry and succumb to desires?
All the scriptures unanimously declare
That the pure, formless, undifferentiated Reality
Is the Essence of all forms.
There is absolutely no doubt about this.
All forms, please understand, are only temporary manifestations;
Only the formless Essence eternally exists.
Once this truth is realized,
There’s no more necessity to be reborn.
The one Reality is ever the same;
This is what all the wise say.
Whether you embrace or renounce desires,
The One Consciousness remains unaffected.
If you see the world as other than the Self,
can that be the experience of Unity?
If you see it as the Self, can that be the experience of Unity?
If it is seen as both the Self and not the Self,
can that be the experience of Unity?
The true state of freedom is to see everything as One.
You are the pure Reality, always the same;
You have no body, no birth and no death.
How, then, can you say, “I know the Self”?
Or how can you say, “I don’t know the Self”?
The saying, “That thou art,”
Affirms the reality of your own true Self.
