For one who clings, motion exists;
But for one who clings not, there is no motion.
Where no motion is, there is stillness.
Where stillness is, there is no craving.
Where no craving is,
There is neither coming nor going.
Where neither coming nor going is,
There is neither arising nor passing away.
Where neither arising nor passing away is,
There is neither this world, nor a world beyond,
Nor a state between.
This, verily, is the end of suffering.
In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west;
people create distinctions out of their own minds
and then believe them to be true.
The mind is everything.
What you think you become.
Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.
Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
The Secret of health for both mind and body
is not to mourn for the past,
not to worry about the future
nor to anticipate troubles,
but to live the present moment
wisely and earnestly.
